Price Protection

We'll match regular prices on identical products.

If you see a lower priced item within 30 days of your purchase at MEC, call our Service Centre (1.888.847.0770 or 604.876.6221) with the details. You can also contact your local store to match a regionally advertised price.

• The item must be offered for sale within Canada by a Canadian-based retailer. (No US-based retailers or websites.)
• The item must be in-stock and available through a competitor's retail channel when you request the price match.
• The item must be identical, including the model and year.
• The price must be ticketed, signed, or advertised, not verbally agreed to.
• Our staff must be able to verify all of the above.
• Price matching does not apply to seconds, damaged goods, multiple-purchase discounts, or close-out prices.

Clearance Items

At MEC, we don't have sales. We don't do limited time offers. If you need something today, you can buy it today and know it's good value for the money.

We do offer clearance prices on products, sizes, or colours that we are discontinuing. Clearance is like a sale, but it's a one-way street. Once we reduce a price, that price applies until all the stock is gone and we will never sell the same item again at a higher price. Clearance items may have limited inventory, may not be available in all stores, and prices may only apply to specific colours or sizes.

Clearance Price Protection

If you notice that an identical item goes on clearance, please contact us within 30 days of your original purchase and we'll refund you the difference. Call our Service Centre (1.888.847.0770 or 604.876.6221) or bring your receipt to the retail store where you bought the item.
