Sarah comes from the land of smog and eight-lane highways: the GTA. While her upbringing lacked mountain culture, it was packed with indiscriminate passion and a desire to approach everything in life with zeal and 100% effort. Today, this is how she approaches her climbing.

Sarah learned to climb on the limestone bluffs of Lion's Head, but now calls Squamish home. World-class granite is a bike ride away, and she can juggle all of her climbing obsessions: sport, trad, bouldering, and alpine.

Why climb? For the feeling of moving fluidly and with power, over rock. Or maybe I just really like being stronger than the boys!"
