After 10 years of judo - complete with a brown belt - Sébastien turned to climbing. It's been a decade since he made the switch, and in that time he's sent multiple 5.14s, including Supernova (5.14b) at Rumney in the US. He's also bouldered Madiba (V14) at Rocklands in South Africa.
Bouldering and comps are what he likes best. He's taken part in six world cups and has been a member of the junior and senior Canadian climbing teams. In 2012, he claimed his first Bouldering and Sport Climbing Canadian title.
What gets Sébastien psyched on climbing? Pushing his limits, travelling to climbing spots all over the world, and the people he meets along the way.
I've been to South Africa twice, and it's my favourite destination so far. I really like the culture, and the country has some of the nicest scenery and climbs on the planet."
