About MEC Membership
At MEC you're a member and part owner. Membership is open to anyone. When you purchase your single five dollar share, you become a part-owner in MEC – entitled to a lifetime membership with no additional dues.
There is a special category of membership for those of you who are 15 or under. You will enjoy the same benefits as regular members, though you will not be able to vote in the annual Board of Directors election. When you turn 16 years of age, you will automatically become a full-fledged member and will be eligible to vote.

How do I become a member?
You can apply for membership and purchase a share before, or at the time of, your first purchase. You may do this online, at our retail stores, or at our Service Centre if you are ordering by phone, mail, or fax. You can reach the Service Centre toll-free within North America at 1.888.847.0770 or in the Vancouver area or internationally at 604.876.6221.
