Technical garments, designed for specific activities have features that aren't always adaptable to general use. For example, cycling clothing is longer in the back and arms. Activity aside, the fit of MEC brand clothing falls into these categories:
Body FitTight, with no room to spare. |
Slim FitVery close fit, with a bit of room. |
Regular FitGenerous but not oversized. |
Relaxed FitOversized with lots of room for layering. |
Regular RiseJust below natural waistline. |

Low RiseSlightly lower than regular rise. |

All MEC men's and boy's pants are regular rise.
MEC designers refine the cut of our garments for consistent fit and performance during activity.
Please take the time to measure yourself when ordering online or by phone, mail, or fax. The measurements shown for each size refer to body dimensions.

Chest / Bust (B)Measure fullest circumference, keeping tape up under arms and across shoulder blades. Hand (C)(Knuckle circumference) Measure around a flat hand at knuckles, do not include thumb. Also measure hand length from the base of palm to end of middle finger. Use the larger of the two measurements to select your glove size. |
