This minimalist model of the Float series designed for slackcountry and day skiing or riding accessed through mechanized means. The Float 18 has the same single chamber, 150L airbag system as the other Float packs, but is compact and streamlined for short backcountry hits. The system is designed to reduce or eliminate burial depth and protect your head, neck and upper body from trauma should you be caught in an avalanche. The pack provides enough volume for rescue tools, lunch, skins and an extra layer but that's it.
