Sizing Charts

Shrinkage

All MEC garments have been sized to accommodate any shrinkage that may occur. For best performance, please follow the care instructions sewn into each garment.

Fitting Boots

It is best to buy boots in person. We cannot guarantee a boot's fit when ordered online or by phone, mail, or fax. However, if you purchase boots online that don't fit, you can return them if they are unworn.

Finding Your Size

Please take the time to measure yourself when ordering online or by phone, mail, or fax. The measurements shown for each size refer to body dimensions.

Arms (A)
Bend elbow gently, then measure from centre of back of neck out to point of shoulder, down to back of elbow, and forward to wrist.

Chest / Bust (B)
Measure fullest circumference, keeping tape up under arms and across shoulder blades.

Hand (C)
(Knuckle circumference) Measure around a flat hand at knuckles, do not include thumb. Also measure hand length from the base of palm to end of middle finger. Use the larger of the two measurements to select your glove size.

Head (D)
Measure circumference above brow ridges and above ears.

Height (E)
Stand with back straight; measure from highest point on head to floor.

Hips (F)
Stand with feet together and measure at fullest circumference.

Inseam (G)
Measure inner leg from crotch to below the ankle bone.

Neck (H)
Measure circumference at base of neck.

Waist (J)
Measure at narrowest circumference.

Tall Sizes
Add 2in. or 5cm to inseam, arms, and the overall length.

Petite Sizes
Subtract 1½in. or 4cm from inseam, arms, and the overall length.

Kids' Sizing
Please take the time to measure your child, rather than relying on their age for sizing.
