Board of Directors Election Information

MEC is a co-operative governed by a nine-person Board of Directors representing MEC's approximately two million members. Directors are elected during MEC's annual spring election.

The directors are a key link between members like you and the rest of the organization. As a Board, they set MEC's vision and policies, oversee prudent financial management, hire and guide the CEO, and help establish and evaluate our strategic objectives.

In taking the time to vote for the Board of Directors, you are exercising one of the unique benefits of being a Co-op member.
