Grants and SupportMEC is a member-owned co-operative striving for social and environmental leadership. Our purpose is to support people in achieving the benefit of wilderness-oriented recreation. Part of our vision is to inspire action for a healthy planet. We seek to support organizations with similar goals through our Community Contributions programs. Community DonationsEvery month we donate MEC product and gift cards to enable grassroots conservation or access groups to raise funds or reward volunteers. We support non-profit groups with a mandate related to conservation, environmental education, outdoor access and participation in self-propelled wilderness recreation. Due to the volume of requests, we cannot respond to all applications. Applications take approximately 10 weeks to process. See our Community Contributions programs for details.
