Performance mitts with upgraded materials and details: palm is tough polyurethane, drawcord toggles are sized for smaller hands, and there are no leashes to get tangled. They keep hands warm even when wet, and allow moisture to evaporate away.

  • High-loft insulation is heavier on back of hand for extra warmth, lighter on palms for easier grip.
  • Brushed polyester lining for comfort and warmth.
  • Grippy polyurethane palm material extends up the fingerbox.
  • Sniffle patch/goggle wipe on thumbs.
  • Wrist strap secures mitts to hands.
  • Small zippered pocket for storing a handwarmer pouch when the temperature dips.
  • Quick-closing elastic drawcord to keep in warmth and keep out snow.
  • Internal hand-me-down ID label.
Weight 150g (Medium)

Gloves allow use of all fingers. Mittens keep all fingers contained for increased heat retention. Fingerless gloves leave the tips of all fingers exposed for improved dexterity. Split fingers pair some fingers together and are commonly found in cold weather cycling gloves.

Intended Use Skiing + snowboarding

Insulation levels offer a basic comparison point. Many other factors must be considered when selecting handwear for warmth: construction type and waterproofness, activity level, environment (temperature, wind and humidity), one's tendency to have cold extremities, etc.

Main Fabric Nylon
Liner Material Polyester
Palm Material

The type of material used on the palm of the glove. Grippy palms have a raised silicone or polyurethane pattern to improve grip and are most often seen on cycling and paddling handwear.

Cuff Style

Gauntlets cover the wrist and some of the forearm; elastic cuffs use an elastic around the wrist to hold the glove in place; a cinch strap is an adjustable hook-and-loop closure; snap back uses a snap closure; knit wrist cuffs fit snug over the wrist; slip-ons do not have adjustments.

Liner Type Sewn-in

A windproof garment does not allow any air to permeate the fabric. A garment with windproof panels has panels of fabric that are totally windproof, but the rest of the garment may not be windproof. A wind-resistant garment resists some wind, but not as much as a garment that is windproof.

Touchscreen Compatible No

Made with waterproof material and seam-taped.
