Jim’s been delivering the message of healthy living since he became a personal trainer in 1997, and has helped hundreds of people reach their health and fitness goals.
In 2010, however, life delivered a message to him. He was diagnosed with colon cancer at just 36 years old, and underwent major surgery and a six-month chemotherapy treatment plan. Despite that, his values around lifestyle and helping others have remained strong. In fact, they’ve taken on a much, much greater meaning. He’s now determined to impact as many lives as possible.
He sees running as the ultimate teacher for those who have unanswered questions about their limitations – and as a microcosm of all other facets of life.
“The longer and farther I run the more I discover about myself. Truths about the person I am and the one I want to become. This journey is far from over.”
