Growing up in small towns in Ontario and Manitoba, Kim was always keen to participate in every sport available. But it wasn’t until she moved to Vancouver that she realized her deep passion for running. The freedom and happiness she finds in the mountains, trees and trails has become insurmountable.
Kim is a solid contender on the national level and is pushing the boundaries to compete on the international stage. She is extremely versatile, and her races range in distance from 10K to 100K on the road, trails, mountains and everywhere in between.
“Success hasn’t come easy. I’m an extremely cold and clumsy person by nature. The right gear, inspirational friends, excellent medical coverage, and good beer have all been vital to my growth in the sport. Running has introduced me to a world of the most incredible people, places, and adventures.”
