Kind of the Swiss Army Knife of kayak safety gear.
First off, it's a rugged paddle float that doesn't require inflation, and can be slipped on from either end to save precious seconds. For regular landings, it unfurls as a drag strip to give your kayak hull the red carpet treatment – especially nice on oyster or barnacle-strewn shores. Deploy it as a kneeling pad for cooking or refold it into a low backed camp chair for eating, reading, and star-gazing. If you're a real go-light fanatic (or you simply forgot your cushy down sleeping pad at home), you can also use the Four Play as a sleeping pad. Just lay it out underneath the tent floor and/or footprint to keep damp and dirt out of your bedroom.
- Made from durable nylon and closed-cell foam.
- Note: foam paddle floats are not designed to support a paddlers full weight; they are designed to offer additional buoyancy to aid re-entry.
