This unit comes ready with a bright, sunlight-readable color display and a worldwide built-in basemap with shaded relief. Nearly two GB of internal memory let you use it with Garmin® Custom maps or BirdsEye overlay satellite imagery that lets you see real overhead photos of your destinations to pick routes and campsites, and avoid roadblocks and hazards.

A 3-axis, tilt compensating compass gives you back-up in the unlikely event of satellite reception problems. The altimeter/barometer works for both navigation and weather prediction. And you can share your best routes, tracks, waypoints, and geocaches wirelessly with those who have compatible units.

  • High-sensitivity, quad helix antenna offers the best reception in its class.
  • Splash-proof.
  • 3-axis compass provides accurate heading without being held level.
  • Barometric altimeter tracks changes in pressure.
  • 1.7 GB of internal memory for loading maps.
  • NiMH or Lithium batteries recommended.
