Without ingenuity there is no innovation. Part of the new generation of European touring skis, the Iki has an ultra-lightweight core and three different woods used in the construction. The result is a ski with both exceptional climbing and skiing performance. Early rise tip and tail provides smooth turn initiation through varied conditions. The torsion control system provide smooth edging with good energy transfer and edge feel without compromising weight or durability.
- Ultralight karuba wood core. Dynamic light tri-axial core wrap.
- CTS (control torsion system) light metaltech sidewalls.
- Corund shiny top.
- Okulen synthetic base.
Sandwich and combination construction is generally used for big freeride-style skis while the lighter structural cap type of construction is more commonly found on cross-country skis.
