MEC Sandbagger Jacket - Men's

Show Description

A jacket to make it all seem easy: pull it on for a pre-dawn start and be off the face before the sun hits; then spend the afternoon sport cragging at the back of the lake. The fabric does what you need, blocks wind and stands up to abrasion from weathered limestone or grainy quartzite. The DWR treatment fends off light rain and mist. The cut is streamlined so it sits under a harness and won't block your vision when you need to look down.

  • Shell is burly stretch-woven nylon with spandex. Treated with a DWR finish for weather-resistant protection.
  • No seams on the shoulder tops to reduce irritation points with a gear sling or pack.
  • Mid-height collar keeps out spindrift.
  • Strategically placed zippered hand pockets, 2 large internal drop-in pockets and a small stash pocket on the arm.
  • Wrist cuffs are half elasticized so they stay snug but have some give when you're reaching.
  • Shock-cord hem pulls closed to stop drafts.
