A high-output headlamp that gives you options for charging. Uses USB outlets, or pop in regular alkaline batteries when you want a little extra power or when recharging isn’t an option.
- Uses USB output from computers, newer cars, and solar panels.
- 3-level power meter shows for first 3 seconds after lamp is turned on so you know how much juice remains.
- 1 white spot LED, 2 white flood LEDs, and 2 red flood LEDs provide a variety of lighting modes, including long range, close-up, and red illumination so you can consult a map without compromising your night vision.
The number of lighting levels/modes the light has (i.e., low, med, high, flash).
|Beam distance - low||3.5m|
|Beam distance - med||9m|
|Beam distance - high||66m|
Briefly increases the light output to maximum brightness and distance.
|Light source||3 LEDs + 2 red LEDs|
|Burn time - low||80 h|
|Burn time - high||12 h|
Max light output
The total quantity of light emitted in every direction from a source of light; measured in lumens.
Beam pattern affects how much you can see within the area of light thrown from the headlamp. Wide beams are good for close-up; spot or focussed beams are good for long range visibility.
