The Voile Revelator BC is an innovative backcountry machine. A traction pattern on the base aids climbing. It's not a substitute for skins, but shines on long, low angle approaches, ridge crossings, short yoyo turns, and it speeds up makes your transitions when you hit a flat runout. The channel puck system makes it easy to set up your stance. Use the Voile alignment guide, loosen the screws and move the pucks where you want them. The flex, camber, early rise nose and tapered tail are tuned for deep powder. Carbon glass and a slightly longer camber area help the board skin more efficiently and prevent it from wheelie-ing out at speed.
- Sandwich construction has a paulownia wood core that keeps it light without compromising strength and performance.
- Shape, flex, camber/early rise profile, and lightweight are designed for backcountry riding.
- Includes channel pucks, screws and t-nuts.
Sandwich and combination construction is generally used for big freeride-style skis while the lighter structural cap type of construction is more commonly found on cross-country skis.
