What if a Garmin Forerunner 10 hooked up with a Garmin Vivofit? The result would look much like the Forerunner 15: an easy-to-use trainer with an activity tracker to keep you from slacking off on your downtime. The GPS provides precise speed, distance and pace data in running mode. On rest days, the unit becomes a pedometer, tracking your steps and estimating calories burnt (it’s most accurate when you wear an optional HRM strap). Like a supportive coach, the Forerunner 15 learns your current activity level, assigns attainable daily goals, and adjusts them upward as you get fitter. If you’ve been sitting still too long, it prompts you to walk for a few minutes. Stay motivated by earning virtual badges or competing against yourself or other members of the Garmin Connect on-line community.

  • Stores up to 7 workouts between syncs.
  • Will capture heart rate and heart rate zone when used with any ANT+ HRM strap (not included).
  • Provides daily activity totals/goals.
  • Auto-pause feature.
  • User customizable screens.
  • Battery life is 5 weeks in watch mode, 8 hours in training mode.
