Show Description

Knowledge is power, and the 735XT proves it. Combining an optical heart rate monitor with a seriously rich assortment of features, it provides every essential metric needed by serious runners and tri-athletes. The heart rate monitor does away with the need for an HR chest strap. A built-in accelerometer captures pace and distance. A metronome provides stride-cadence vibration alerts timed with your training plan. To keep up with totally committed tri-athletes, this bundle includes Garmin's powerful HRM-Tri and HRM-Swim straps to provide nuanced swimming, cycling and running data.

  • Optical heartrate sensors measure changes in blood volume under the skin, and work best when worn snuggly, 1 to 3 finger-widths above your wrist bone.
  • Included HRM-Tri strap stores swim data when in the water, and uploads to your Garmin when finished. Garmin's smallest and lightest strap ever produced.
  • Included HR-Swim strap is Garmin's first dedicated swim strap. Non-slip design stays in place even during wall push-offs, and is resistant to pool chemicals.
  • Built-in accelerometer captures distance and pace data without a separate foot pod.
  • Physiological metrics includes VO2 max estimate, lactate threshold, race predictor, recovery advisor, performance indicator and audio prompts.
  • Multisport mode allows for easy transitions between activities within a single workout.
  • Swim functions include drill mode, interval/rest timer, distance, pace, stroke type and count, and SWOLF score.
  • ANT+™ compatible.
  • Bluetooth Smart (for Android and iOS) allows call/text alerts, Live Tracking, workout uploads, firmware updates, pre-population of satellite data for faster GPS acquisition, and more.
  • Automatically syncs data to paired smartphones running the free Garmin Connect app.
  • Compatible with Bluetooth 4.0 smartphones.
  • Connects to a variety of Garmin devices including Virb action cameras, Vector power meters, the Varia radar line and more.
