Description

Show Description

A super-stable option for long days of touring or ski mountaineering at just 980g per ski. The S/Lab X-Alp Skis have a full wood core with thin plies of basalt and fibreglass to reinforce the core and add stiffness – something other skimo skis may lack. The lightness keeps them speedy on the way up, and the 79mm waist adds versatility to help them blast the downs. Koroyd tips give you extra dampening and shock absorption to help smooth out the ride from peak to peak.

  • Lightweight karuba wood core with a full-length layer of CFX Superfiber, a carbon and flax weave that provides power and stability.
  • Koroyd in the tip increase dampening and shock resistance with minimal weight gain.
  • Titanium insert with carbon fibre in the binding zone cuts weight and adds durability, power transfer and edge grip.
  • Skin notch at the tail holds the skin securely in place on the uptrack.
