Show Description

From open bowls to steep chutes, go deep. Named after the peak that features likely the biggest couloir in the Whistler valley, the Fissile Splitboard floats like no other and turns on a dime. The elongated nose and the tight turning radius make it the perfect tool for days when the powder gods are kind. The traditional camber in the tail provides all the power you need to stay in control of your ride. We recommend getting this board 8-10cm longer than your current ride, as the nose will only touch the snow in the deep stuff.

  • Sublimated nylon topsheet brings durability and keeps your board looking sharp.
  • Quadraxial glass layers run in 4 directions for a responsive, torsionally stiff feel.
  • Vertically laminated aspen and poplar woodcore creates a responsive ride.
  • Wide nose, sidecut and increased taper provide float and responsiveness in soft snow.
  • Early rise in the tip combined with a traditional camber that extends to the tail provides a surf-like ride.
  • Rubber Foil dampening reduces chatter when riding fast on hardpack.
  • Durable, impact-resistant UHMW polyethylene sidewalls.
  • Tough Rockwell 48 steel edges are easy to tune.
  • Durasurf 4001 sintered base is fast and durable.
