Drawing inspiration from snowboarding, skateboarding and surfing, a new gen of skiers in the early 2000’s decided to start making skis.
Armada has grown and evolved in tandem with skiing while staying true to their mission – to support skiing's pioneering athletes and build products that redefine skiing.
Skis for dynamic backcountry snow
Armada skis are designed to stabilize you in the unexpected conditions that backcountry skiing might throw at you. Lightweight construction utilizes a Caruba wood core (their lightest wood core material) that keeps you going on the skintrack and also retains the power and dampening characteristics needed for descending in any snow condition. Different rockers like EST Freeride rocker and All-Mountain rocker give good floatation even in the deepest of snow.
Armada women's skis offer a narrow profile for easy turn initiation and a softer flex lets you edge into the snow better with less weight put on them while weaving through trees.

Skiing with a purpose
Armada is committed to making skiing as sustainable as possible for generations to come, starting with building high quality and durable skis which reduces the need for new products.
To reduce their footprint at the manufacturing stage, Armada uses bluesign® APPROVED materials and reduces the energy needs at their production facilities.
