About Eureka!

Eureka tents are backed by decades of use – and more than a century of expertise.

A pioneer-era manufacturer, Eureka started by designing canvas wagon covers and storefront awnings in the 1890s. In the 1930s, the company began making rugged tents for field hospitals and barracks, and by the 1950s, it released a lightweight tent for family camping trips. During its history, Eureka has outfitted some of the world's most epic expeditions, from the first all-American ascent of Mt. Everest to the first uninterrupted navigation of the Blue Nile.

Eureka tents have been exposed to just about every weather imaginable – howling Himalayan winds, stifling humidity and driving rain included. Rest assured: they're tough enough to handle whatever your weekend has in store. Roomy Eureka tents help families get outside hassle-free, with enough space for everyone. Frontcountry tents use heavy-duty fabrics and sturdy poles, so they’ll stand up to years of car camping or canoe trips. Lightweight backpacking tents save weight when it matters while offering plenty of headroom. Bug shelters fit over your campsite’s picnic table to shield your crew from sun, rain and mosquitoes.
