Rossignol began as a wood-turning business in the French Alps and has since gone on to inspire the mountain experience for over 100 years. In 1956, with a new owner they switched to making skis, and as the years went on, they added ski boots and apparel.
Since then, Rossignol has become a snowsports powerhouse, making gear for all levels of expertise.
Plowing pow or speeding through trails
Drawing inspiration from the mountains, Rossignol backcountry skis are designed to let you rip through pow and weave through trees. Their lightweight core lets you glide in all snow conditions. With increased edge grip and control, the downhill’s a breeze.
If you stick to the trails, Rossignol classic cross-country skis and skate skis give you the freedom to take your time or speed beside the tracks. These skis offer peak performance and max power transmission while saving energy with optimized skating.
Respecting the mountains
Rossignol's history is closely linked with the mountains, a privileged environment that is threatened. To combat this, Rossignol practices and encourages respect towards the mountains with actions like renewable energy, reducing use of fossil fuels and using recycled materials in their designs.
