Are you down?

Not 100% sure what down even is? It’s the soft feathers insulating a jacket to make it puffy, light and warm. Since the feathers are so light, down jackets are great for activities like hiking and skiing where you can wear them or pack them along for added warmth. They make a great mid-layer to create an outdoor layering system: over a base layer and under a rain shell.

Down cleaning tips

Are you already the proud owner of a down jacket? Food, sweat, or dirt are always a possibility, so make sure you also know how to wash your down jacket. You can spot wash, machine wash (if you have a front-loading machine) or even hand wash.
