Bike fitting
Optimize performance and comfort in a bike fitting session. A free fitting is included when you purchase a new bike for $990 or more.
MTB specialists and demo rides
When you’re ready to go deep with bike talk, you can book an appointment with an MTB specialist. Just call to set one up. You can also try out an Intense mountain bike, either book a demo online or call us to set up a test ride.
Tune-up packages
Parts are not included in tune-up prices. Most tune-ups take 2–4 business days.
A quick 30–35 minutes of service, determined at the assessment.
- Stem, handlebar, seat, controls, seatpost and crankarms checked and adjusted
- Tires filled to maximum stated pressure
- Brake cable tension, shoe height and angle checked or adjusted; centre orientation confirmed
- Derailleur hanger aligned if needed
- Derailleur and cable tension checked or adjusted
For when your bike hasn’t had a tune-up after a season of active riding or 2 seasons of light use: noisy drivetrain, imprecise shifting, loose feeling brakes, or generally loose feeling components. Includes everything in minor adjustment, plus:
- Bottom bracket checked for proper bearing adjustment
- Headset checked for proper bearing adjustment, adjusted as needed
- Threadlock applied to crank bolt, rotor bolts, caliper bolts, and loose hardware
- All pivot points lubricated
- Front and rear hub bearings adjusted
- Crankset removed, bottom bracket tapers cleaned
- Wheels trued radially and laterally; spoke tension checked/adjusted
- Frame and fork wiped down
For when your bike hasn't had a tune-up after a few seasons of regular riding or it hasn't been use for over a year: poor shifting, soft brakes, or wheels aren’t straight. Includes everything in basic tune-up, plus:
- Hubs disassembled, cleaned and inspected; repacked with new bearings and grease
A comprehensive service from top to bottom for bikes in need of some TLC. Includes everything in Advanced, along with:
- Frame fully cleaned and inspected for fatigue damage
- Headset disassembled, cleaned, inspected and repacked with new bearings and grease
- Bottom bracket disassembled, cleaned, inspected, repacked with grease and new bearings (depending on type), and adjusted
Top-notch service and it’s ready fast. Includes everything in Advanced Plus, along with:
- 8-hour turnaround repair
- New Shimano® cables and housing for brakes and shifters
- Full frame and wheel detailing
- Parts installation
Add-on services: bike cleaning fee $15, hub repack (single) $10, spoke replacement $5 (spokes and nipples not included).
