Inspired by the classic northern river-tripping Prospectors, the Outfitters have a similar virtue: the ability to handle a wide range of loads in a wide range of water conditions. This seventeen foot version has enough volume for a month of supplies and to keep you dry in whitewater. Yet it still tracks well with good hull speed on flat water.
The triple-layer plastic hull isn't intended for portaging but it is excellent for high-abuse, low-maintenance users like camps, schools, outfitters and even cottagers who'd rather watch the sunset with a refreshing beverage in hand than muck around with sandpaper and resins.
- Hull is rugged triple-layer plastic.
