MEC was recently informed about a recall for the following YETI products: Hopper M30 Soft Cooler 1.0 and 2.0, Hopper M20 Soft Backpack Cooler, or the SideKick Dry Gear Case.
These products have been available since 2018. The recall concerns an issue where the magnets used in the closure system can come loose and pose a hazard if accidentally ingested. YETI is asking that you stop using your affected product and return your cooler for your choice of either a suggested replacement product of equal or greater value than the recalled product, or a full refund in the form of a YETI gift card with an additional value depending on the product and market. You may also return your recalled YETI product to any MEC location or remotely through our Customer Care team. If you choose to return your product directly to MEC, you will receive a refund or credit for the amount paid at time of purchase. The offers made by YETI are available only through their website.
