About the artist

We asked Matt to tell us about his design, and what share what Pride means to him:

“When I thought of applying my textiles work to the duffle bag, I wanted to transform its identity, keeping the overall silhouette, but changing the texture and feel when you see and use it.”

“Pride is an opportunity to celebrate and openly express your identity, finding solidarity, and supporting others within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.”

Matt's work explores themes of identity, intersectionality and change.
