We asked Julian to tell us about his design, and share what Pride means to him:
“The duffle’s design is a gesture of spontaneity, freedom, flow, fun and play of shape and colour. I am always inspired by the organic forms of nature and for the design, I decided to compose intuitively with shapes cut out on paper.”
“Pride is a strength that allows us to move forward with our heads held high. It’s self-recognition, self-love and for others, it is confidence in freedom.”
Julian is a multidisciplinary artist working as a muralist, illustrator, animator and curator.
You can see Julian’s finished design in-person at MEC Montreal (until June 30).
Want to take this duffle home? Enter the raffle by June 30 – tickets are just $10 and all proceeds go to The Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity (CCGSD).
