That's not it - we've invited our friends from the Alpine Club of Canada to join in on the fun. Stop by their booth on Saturday to connect with your local ACC Section!

What to expect
Our gear swap is an awesome place to find some screamin' deals on previously loved gear. It helps keep product out of landfills that might need a few repairs to keep it going.
Even better? All proceeds from table rentals and sales from donated gear will go to the local Alpine Club of Canada Section.
Here are 3 ways to get in on the fun:
1. Rent a table to sell your own gear.
Table rentals are just $20 (+ fees). Your rental gets you (1) 6ft table to sell your gear. You will be responsible for pricing and selling your items at the event. A limit of 20 tables will be available and it's first come, first served!
*Deadline to book your table is October 1.
2. Donate your gently used items and receive 15% off at MEC
Have gear that's been sitting in storage and needs a new home? Stop by MEC stores participating in Gear Swap to donate your (clean) gently used outdoor gear and we’ll take care of the rest.
All outdoor gear is eligible for donation. We will not accept items that are smelly, moldy or otherwise unhygienic, items beyond repair. For safety reasons, we cannot accept or re-sell the following used safety gear: climbing harnesses, ropes, slings, quickdraws, ice tool leashes, paddling throw bags, tow lines and rescue strips, helmets or personal locator beacons. We reserve the right to refuse donations that do not meet the criteria.
Donations will be accepted from September 18 - October 1.
Terms and Conditions
15% discount applies to in-stock items purchased in-store at MEC. Offer cannot be redeemed for cash, applied to gift cards, Yard Sale items, services, prior purchases or combined with other offers, such as price matching or staff discount. Available to MEC members only (you can join for free with your purchase).
Note: The 15% discount does not apply for MEC staff, ACMG, Canadian Armed Forces or First Responders. Their discount is applicable but cannot be stacked with 15% club night discount.

We’re teaming up with local ACC Sections to get you ready for your next adventure.
Stop by and visit with your local Alpine Club of Canada Section. They'll have info on ACC memberships, upcoming events and initiatives, as well as a chance to participate in their silent auction with prizes from ACC and MEC.
All proceeds from silent auction, table rentals and sales from donated gear will go to the local Alpine Club of Canada Section.
