About Leave No Trace Canada
MEC is a founding member of the non-profit organization Leave No Trace (LNT) Canada. Since 2006, MEC has supported LNT Canada’s mission to promote the responsible use of outdoor spaces through education, research and partnerships to help people discover the value of natural environments.
The seven Leave No Trace principles provide the framework for minimum impact practices and techniques. People getting active outside can use this framework to better protect and conserve the natural environment for current and future generations.
Show that you care for all of Canada’s parks and natural areas by taking the Leave No Trace Canada’s Pledge. For every Pledge taken, a tree will be planted as part of a Leave No Trace program sponsored by Subaru Canada.
