We asked Dylan to tell us about their design, and what share what Pride means to them:
“My design drew heavy inspiration from both nature and community, as well as rock climbing for the setting/story for my piece. Then, I created a community of climbers in various shapes and colours to celebrate the diversity and vibrance of the queer community.”
“Pride is a time to build community. It’s a time to see all my friends, celebrate queer culture, make new memories, and of course – have fun.”
Dylan is a painter, author and animator based out of Toronto.
You can see Dylan’s finished design in-person at MEC Toronto (until June 30).
Want to take this duffle home? Enter the raffle by June 30 – tickets are just $10 and all proceeds go to The Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity (CCGSD).
