Learn-to Camp
For the past decade, MEC and Parks Canada have worked together to provide a national Learn-to Camp program. Through clinics hosted at MEC locations, pop-up campsites, events and online resources, the Learn-to Camp program aims to instill confidence in participants through skills and resources. The goal is to help more people discover the joy of camping, prepare them to camp on their own, and help them connect to outdoor experiences at Parks Canada’s places. With six Learn-to Camp hubs across Canada, MEC and Parks Canada have been able to enable and inspire countless people to try camping for the very first time.
