You can return products to any store that’s fully open.
- Please ensure mailed items are clean and fully contained in packaging such as a shipping envelope or box.
- Items too large for standard mail (such as bikes or boats) can only be returned to stores that are fully open. Bike shops cannot process returns.
How long do returns by mail take?
Due to social distancing at all MEC facilities, processing times for mail-in returns may take 5–6 weeks to process.
I returned my package via mail. When will my credit card be credited?
If you submitted your return prior to a store closure, your return has likely been processed. If you have concerns about your order, contact our Service Centre.
How long do I have to make my return?
Members benefit from our Member Rocksolid Guarantee. If the quality of an item hasn’t met expectations, you can bring it back. We also guarantee the product selection advice we give our members. If something purchased based on this advice turns out to be unsuitable, it can be returned or exchanged. More info and exclusions
Purchases made without a membership require the original receipt or this confirmation email to return purchases up to 30 days from the date of purchase.
Do I have to pay to ship this back to you?
Unless the return is for warranty reasons or we made a mistake with your order, you will need to pay for return shipping. For exchanges (if your local store isn’t open), we suggest purchasing a replacement item and returning the original item when your store re-opens.
