As of June 1, you can return products to any store that’s fully open. Stores open for just bike repair or bike sales cannot accept returns in person.
For the safety of MEC staff,
- Please ensure mailed items are clean and fully contained in packaging such as a shipping envelope or box.
- Oversize items (such as bikes or boats) that are too large for standard mail can only be returned to stores that are fully open. (Our bike shops cannot process bike returns)
How long do returns by mail take?
Because we are maintaining social distancing at all MEC facilities, processing times for mail-in returns may take 5–6 weeks to process. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
I returned my package via mail. When will my credit card be credited?
If you submitted your return prior to store closures, your return has likely been processed. If you have concerns about your order, please contact our Service Centre.
How long do I have to make my return?
Products are backed by our Rocksolid Guarantee, which has no set expiry period. If the quality of an item hasn’t met your expectations, you can bring it back. Some products such as food and energy drinks, can only be returned if damaged or defective. See returns and exchanges for more information.
Do I have to pay to ship this back to you?
Unless the return is for warranty reasons or we made a mistake with your order, you will need to pay for return shipping.For exchanges (if your local store isn’t open yet), we suggest purchasing a replacement item and returning the original item when your store re-opens.
