MEC orders are now shipping as normal, including PO boxes and rural addresses.
If you’re in an urban area, your order ships with alternate carriers and shouldn’t be affected. For rural or PO box deliveries handled by Canada Post, you may experience minor delays.

Free shipping on orders over $50
- Applies to orders sent via Standard Post within Canada (before taxes)
- Excludes oversized items and hazardous goods
- Orders under $50 incur a $10 shipping fee
- In checkout you’ll be able to see the delivery date of your chosen shipping method

Standard Post is insured for damage or loss. Some items cannot be shipped by standard methods. Contact us to find out if your order requires extra freight. Ground, door-to-door service for large items or hazardous goods is also available, some restrictions apply.
Provincial and federal taxes are applied during checkout.

- Orders outside Canada are not charged Canadian taxes, but may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and processing fees.
- MEC cannot estimate these fees; check with your local customs office.
- Customs invoice will be included with the parcel or may arrive separately

- USA:
- Xpresspost (4-10 business days): $19 (up to $1000 order total)
- International:
- Air Mail (1-4 weeks):
- $50 (up to $200 order total)
- $70 ($200–$400 order total)
- $85 ($400–$600 order total)
- $98 ($600–$1000 order total)
Items Not Shipped:
Bikes, boats, oversized items, dangerous goods, food, and sunglasses cannot be shipped to the USA or internationally.

Bike Purchases
- E-bikes can only be purchased for in-store pickup
- No shipping fee if the bike is available at your selected store
- A non-refundable $95 shipping fee applies for bikes that need to be transferred to stores
- Bikes can be delivered to your home or another address for a fee of $95
Boat Purchases
- Inflatable Watercraft (SUPs and kayaks):
- Available for home delivery with a $30 non-refundable shipping fee.
- Non-Inflatable Boats:
- Purchased for in-store pickup; shipping fees may apply for transfers ($300 non-refundable shipping fee)
- Boats currently ship to stores only, no home deliveries (exceptions may apply)

Some products are available for express shipping within Canada, with an estimated arrival date of 2-3 business days when ordered before noon.
An estimated arrival date is the day we anticipate your package will be delivered. Estimated arrival dates are not guaranteed.
Weather, carrier delays and other unforeseen circumstances also might impact delivery time.
Please note that express shipping isn't available for orders to PO boxes, oversized items, hazardous goods, or products containing lithium ion batteries.
