In partnership with Avalanche Canada
As part of our ongoing support of Avalanche Canada, Avalanche Québec and backcountry safety, members doing an Avalanche Skills Training (AST) courses are eligible for a free safety package rental at any MEC location that rents avalanche safety gear.
You pay the rental fee when you book the equipment, and we’ll refund the fee when you return it with proof of the AST program completion. The rental is free only for the days you’re completing the course. We’ll charge the daily rental rate for any additional days. Contact a store for more details, and for availability of rental gear.
