  1. How do I log into my MEC Account?

Click on “Account” in the menu bar at the top right of any page on MEC.ca, and then click on “Sign in”.

If you don’t have an MEC.ca account, you can create one by clicking “Create an Account” and entering an email address and password. If you create your online account using the same email address as the one associated with your MEC membership, they will be linked automatically so you can purchase online. Just check your email for a verification email, and then you’ll be all set.

If you create your online account with a different email, we can still link your accounts. If you’re making a purchase now, enter your member number when you get to the “Membership Details” page as you check out (or use the “Forgot member number?” search function to find it). You can also email us at info@mec.ca or use Live Chat to ask the Service Centre to link your membership and your MEC.ca account.

  1. I’m trying to create an account. Why won’t the form accept my email address?

Your email address must be in standard email format (John@gmail.com). If it’s still not working, please make sure this email isn’t already registered for an MEC.ca account. If you’re still having trouble, email us at info@mec.ca or use Live Chat for help.

  1. I’ve forgotten my password. How do I get a new one?

No worries. On the Sign In screen, click on “Forgot your Password” and you’ll get an email to reset your password.
