About Mountain House

Since 1969, Mountain House has been making tasty, freeze-dried meals for wolfing down on all kinds of outdoor adventures. Their meals are free from the artificial stuff, so you know what you’re munching on when you read the label. Humble beginnings

Based out of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Mountain House began as a supplier of military rations. They brought any leftover rations to military surplus and sporting goods stores, where they were a massive hit. Fast-forward to today, and Mountain House is still making freeze-dried food for camping, backpacking and emergency preparedness with a great taste and a 30-year shelf life.
