Conceived in Toronto, Ontario, alder apparel is a Canadian women’s outdoor clothing brand that makes inclusive sizing, community-informed design and sustainable production a priority.

With bright colours and fun silhouettes, alder’s ethos lies in the joy and playfulness of being outside. They envision an outdoor rec movement that steps away from the hardcore, peak-performance model, and instead puts inclusivity and enjoyment first.

Leaving the world better than you found it

Sustainability practices and ethical manufacturing are no joke at alder. They reduce their impact by choosing fabrics like Tencel/lyocell, recycled nylon, polyamide and polyester, and modal sourced from bluesign®-certified fabric supplier Lenzing. They partner with ethical, transparent factories around the world and give back to outdoor nonprofit and charity organizations through the alder fund.
