KEY POINTS & INTENDED USE

The Lightweight series of tents are ideal for minimalist backcountry pursuits.

These 3-season tents use lighter weight materials and accessories, reducing the

overall weight without compromising the strength of the tent. Great for cycle

touring, backpacking, trekking and whatever else you can think of, these tents

will hold their own without breaking your back. All Lightweight series tents are

now grey with green floors. They include 9mm DAC NSL Featherlite poles, which

use DAC's green anodization process which avoids the use of toxic heavy metals

in the finishing process. All models come with 12 DAC J-stakes which anchor secu

rely at a fraction of the weight. 2.0mm reflective guylines are easily tensioned

using the new smaller size tent cleats. All Volt models have one window on both

vestibules. Same as all tents for 2012, new stuff sacks improve *MORE

merchandizing and are easier to pack. Instructions are also sewn into the tent

pole sleeve.

Note - The floors of the MEC 2012 Lightweight series tents changed to a lighter

but still durable floor for 2012. Still tests to 10,000mm

The new floor matches the lighter weight design of this series.
