If you like to save grams and watts wherever you can — and like future‑proofing your gear — the Strattos S8X with its Ultegra Di2 groupset might just be your next ride. Outfitted with Ultegra Di2, the S8X delivers instant shifts — even under load — and impressive stopping power. The Ultegra groupset benefits from Shimano’s other top‑tier groupsets, taking Hyperglide+, a faster, smaller front derailleur from Dura‑Ace, and ServoWave braking technology from XT. With these technologies, you get near‑instant shifts and incredible brake modulation. Built on a light and rigid UCI‑approved carbon frame, the Strattos S8X is agile and efficient. Specially engineered seat stays have a slight flex to help absorb road vibration. All of this tech is connected to the ground by Schwalbe One tires; with their low rolling resistance, you get speed on the straights and subtle sidewall cuts for grip in the corners.

Ultegra Di2 groupset is 373g lighter than 105 Di2
Shimano Ultegra Di2 2x12 drivetrain puts 24 gears at your fingertips, taking the edge off the hills and adding as much speed as you want
Hyperglide+ for smoother shifting, Shimano claims 58% faster shifts at the rear and 45% faster at the front
Extra hood button that you can map in the app or link to your riding computer
Extra port under the hoods gives you the option to add another shifter button down the road, e.g., put shifters on your aerobars.
Light touch shifting changes gears and keeps your hands firmly planted on the bars, no need to fully push the shifter like with a mechanical shifter
Shimano’s electronic groupsets let you glide through the gears with a simple press-and-hold of your shifter, no more limit of 1 or 2 shifts at a time
Di2 shifting adjustments can be done quickly and easily on the free app, no need to mess with limit screws
Shifter battery life of 2-3 years
Derailleur battery life of approximately 1000km with easy USB-charging.
LED battery status indicators let you check the battery level of both the derailleur and the shifter batteries
Shimano Ultegra hydraulic disc brakes provide serious stopping power in even the worst weather.
Servo Wave braking technology provides non-linear brake pad progression, so the pad starts to engage sooner, and they bite more smoothly as you go pull harder
Schwalbe One tires are tubeless ready and use the durable, yet grippy Addix rubber compound.
ACX carbon fibre frame has been engineered for improved power transfer with a downtube that 16% stiffer than previous generations
Carbon fibre fork is rigid, light, and nimble.
Custom engineered dynamic seat stays absorb vibrations, improving ride comfort without compromising power transfer.
Frame and fork are UCI approved, if you’re feeling competitive.
28mm tires are a little fatter than average road tires and balance speed with comfort – with the emphasis on speed. Frame can fit up to 32mm tires.
Internal brake cable routing looks great, reduces drag, and makes it easier to clean your bike after mucky rides
Entity Flux2 short nose saddle promotes a natural rotation of the pelvis, improving stability and allowing you to maintain a comfortable cadence with less effort
