About Zamberlan
Zamberlan is an Italian boot company known for its quality construction and comfortable fit.
Master cobbler Giuseppe Zamberlan founded the company in 1929 with his business-savvy wife Maria, a skilled sewer. Nearly a century later, the company is still run by the Zamberlan family – and Zamberlan boots are still made and field-tested in the rugged Dolomite mountains.
Innovation is part of Zamberlan’s history. After an accident claimed the lives of several Italian mountaineers, Giuseppe collaborated with Vitali Bramani, founder of Vibram, to rethink traditional leather-soled mountaineering boots. The result was the world’s first boot with a rubber sole, which forever changed the footwear industry.
Every hiker wants happy feet. Zamberlan hiking boots deliver reliable grip and flexible cushioning for all-day hikes and weekend wanders. Rugged backpacking boots offer extra ankle support for carrying heavier loads on multi-day treks and bucket-list traverses. Boots with Gore-tex waterproofing keep feet dry through summer storms and shoulder-season snowdrifts. Durable materials and burly construction mean that Zamberlans stand up to the roughest trails and the toughest terrain.
