KEY POINTS & INTENDED USE

The Ghost ASX line uses the 650B size wheel that combines the agility of the

26" wheel and the speed of the 29" wheel making for a very nimble and quick

platform. The 650B wheel is fast becoming a favourite with all mountain

riders. The ASX 5100 is kitted out in Shimano's components (nearly all Deore),

RST First front suspension, and X-Fusion rear suspension. The Shimano Deore &

XT components give you the speed and control you need, with fast accurate

shifts and reliable velocity control with the big M445 (180mm) disc brakes.

Both the RST First GTRL Air front shock and the X-Fusion E1 RL rear shock have

rebound and lock-out adjustment allowing the rider to tailor their shock

compliance depending on the type of riding they are doing.

Features Ghost's reverse hanger tech, this leads to even more direct shifting

because the hanger is mounted on the inside of the chain stay reducing bending

stress during shifting. ****Page Down****

For 2014 Ghost is increasing their "cockpit control" with shorter stems and

wider handlebars. The idea behind this is by using wider handlebars and a

shorter stem your hands are positioned more widely without changing your upper

body position giving you more control on the trail.

Features Ghost's Needle Bearing System which ensures super sensitive rear

triangle performance. The technology is both simple and ingenious. The needle

bearings are located in the damper eyelet, replacing commonly used bush

bearings, and ensure a minimum break-away torque. The low torque results in an

outstanding responsiveness to even the smallest bumps.

Features Ghost's THT technology, the tapered head tube broadens towards the

bottom leading to better force transfer from the fork to the frame. The

increased stiffness of the tapered head tube lead to the bicycle's improved and

more direct steering.
