KEY POINTS & INTENDED USE

The new Ghost Lanao series have been engineered with a woman's anatomy in mind.

Ghost's engineers adapted the standard dropped toptube typically seen in female

specific bikes and gave it a curve that decreases the standover height without

really effecting geometry. On the full suspension Lanao bikes, Ghost has

integrated their 4-bar rear suspension linkage - where braking doesn't

influence suspension performance. The Lanao line uses the 650B size wheel

that combines the agility of the 26" wheel and the speed of the 29" wheel

making for a very nimble and quick platform. The 650B wheel is fast becoming a

favourite with all mountain riders. The Lanao FS7 comes extremely well

equipped with Shimano's top-end XT components, Fox suspension with their CTD

system, and ****Page Down****

a great frame Ghost has filled full of tech (direct mount front derailleur,

tapered headtube, and 4-bar rear linkage). The Shimano XT components give you

the speed and control you need, with near instant shifts and precise velocity

control with the big (180mm) disc brakes. The Fox shocks offer their

Climb/Trail/Descend (CTD) 3 position quick adjustment lever that allows fast

on-the-go adjustment whether you are climbing, on level trail, or descending.

From the great components, the versatile 650B wheel, and Ghost's technologies

the Lanao FS 7 is ready for all the cross-country riding you can handle.

Features Ghost's THT technology, the tapered head tube broadens towards the

bottom leading to better force transfer from the fork to the frame. The

increased stiffness of the tapered head tube lead to the bicycle's improved and

more direct steering.

****Page Down****

Features Ghost's reverse hanger tech, this leads to even more direct shifting

because the hanger is mounted on the inside of the chain stay reducing bending

stress during shifting.

Features Ghost's Needle Bearing System which ensures super sensitive rear

triangle performance. The technology is both simple and ingenious. The needle

bearings are located in the damper eyelet, replacing commonly used bush

bearings, and ensure a minimum break-away torque. The low torque results in an

outstanding responsiveness to even the smallest bumps.
