KEY POINTS & INTENDED USE

When Ghost debuted the AMR Riot in 2014 the Riot line was very well received,

but you would sometimes see a serious all mountain rider swapping out the front

fork on the Riot to get even more suspension travel than the stock Riot

offered. Ghost saw this customization and for 2015 offers these hard core

riders an 'off the shelf' solution, the Riot LT. The "LT" in the name stands

for longer travel, with the LT series bikes having on average 20mm more travel

in their front forks than the non-LT versions.

For 2015 Ghost has embraced the 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' adage. The

2015 Riot line is built upon the same frame as the 2014 AMR Riot.

The Ghost Riot frame is an amazing piece of engineering, combined with some

high-end components to make a true All Mountain bike, which can actually take

ALL the mountain has to offer. Ghost has loaded the Riot LT 6 LC with high-end

components making for an excellent value dream bike. The Riot LT 6 LC mainly

uses Shimano's Deore series components that are known for their, reliability

and reduced weight characteristics. The rear derailleur is and XT Plus model,

what this means is there is a one way ratcheting cam that prevents your rear

derailleur (and chain) from banging around while bouncing down technical

terrain. The large 180mm XT disc brakes keep your velocity in check while the

XT drivetrain keeps your shifts fast and effortless.

****Page Down****

The Riot LT 6 LC handles the terrain with the aide of Fox suspension providing

up to 150mm of compliance up front, and the super adjustable Cane Creek Double

Barrel Inline 130mm out back. The Riot LT 6 LC uses a Fox Talas two positions

(120mm/150mm) fork, featuring Fox's Climb/Trail/Descend (CTD) 3 position quick

adjustment lever that allows fast on-the-go adjustment whether you are

climbing, on level trail, or descending. The Cane Creek Double Barrel Inline

rear shock is inverted compared to the standard rear shocks found on non-LT

Riots allowing access to the multiple adjustment points on the shock, and the

climbing lock-out lever. The large 27.5" Race Face Turbine wheels wearing

Schwalbe Hans Dampf tires get your power to the ground and help keep you

upright on the rough terrain. ****Page Down****

The Riot line is running the increasingly popular 27.5" wheel, the big benefits

of which are the smooth roll and enhanced traction normally associated with a

29" wheel, but with the agility and maneuverability typically only found on

with a 26" wheel; the 27.5" is a best of both worlds size. The Riot LT 6 LC

comes stock with a Kind Shocks LEV Integra seatpost, with 125mm of travel

(100mm on the Extra Small size) and adjustable return speed. The LEV Integra

allows for 125mm of adjustment at the push of a bar-mounted button. Ghost has

also done their part to make the Riot LT 6 LC worthy of all the high-end

componentry they have slapped on it. The Riot frame is made out of top of the

line carbon fiber, features internal cable routing (giving the Riot a very

clean look), ****Page Down****

Ghost's disconnect rear brake mount, and Ghost's revolutionary Riot-Link rear

suspension linkage (info on p.2). The Riot LT 6 LC brings the world of All

Mountain riding to another level, with Ghost's cutting edge tech and some

pretty amazing bolt-ons care of Shimano, Fox, Cane Creek, Kind Shock, and Race

Face.

- Utilizes Ghost's Riot-Link rear suspension linkage; the beauty of the

Riot-Link is the fact that the rear shock is 'floating', but controlled on

two sides. The upper rocker controls the first 80% of the travel, while th

lower rocker kicks in on the last 20% of travel. This unique combination

results in a whole new performance-level: Big impacts are absorbed in a

super-controlled manner with the first 80% of the travel is being much more

efficiently than other linkages.

- Features Ghost's Disconnect Brake mount: an innovative technical solution

where the rear brake is now connected directly to the X12 axle and saves the

carbon frame from a lot of force.

****Page Down****

- Features Fox's 34 Talas shock with the new open cartridge design which

achieves lower aeration than previous shocks; this leads to faster and

smoother overall performance. These shocks also feature the same structural

design as the FIT shocks: Rebound on the bottom, compression on the top, and

modular remote capabilities. Also has Fox's Climb/Trail/Descend (CTD)

3 position quick adjustment lever that allows fast on-the-go adjustment

whether you are climbing, on level trail, or descending.

- Features Ghost's increased "cockpit control" with shorter stems and wider

handlebars. The idea behind this is by using wider handlebars and a shorter

stem your hands are positioned more widely without changing your upper body

position giving you more control on the trail. ****Page Down****

- The lightweight composite bushings in the frame's pivots are an innovation

for rear suspension. The composite material in combination with Ghost's

anodized aluminum axles are responsible for a very low amount of friction,

this results in a super sensible suspension system. Besides the function the

composite bushings also guarantee a very long lifetime without the chance of

corrosion.

- Features Ghost's Integrated Frame Protection: where the beauty of the carbon

fibre frame is protected with very soft foil that's integrated in the surface

of the chainstays and the lower part of the downtube. A very small chainguide

eliminates any damage to the frame and also guarantees the function of the

drivetrain. ****Page Down****

- Internal cable routing gives a clean look, protects the cables from unneeded

wear and tear, and keeps out dirt and grime.

- Features Ghost's Four Bar Linkage: where braking forces don´t influence the

suspension performance. It guarantees maximum pedal efficiency and traction

both up and down the hill.

- The Race Face Turbine wheels are strong and lightweight rims laced with

burley straight-pull, bladed spokes that give the wheel a stiff and

responsive feel. The heart of any wheelset is its hub and this Turbine wheel

has strong hubs that will take all that you dish out. The hubs feature a

robust design, running on custom cartridge bearings that mean quick and true

hub engagement while still staying light and fast.
