KEY POINTS & INTENDED USE

If you don't like wearing a chest strap, but you want an accurate heart rate

signal, the Scosche Rhythm + Armband is perfect for you. Being both ANT+ and

Bluetooth Smart compatible with many of your favourite devices, i.e. use it

with your smartphone, your Forerunner, your Ambit, or any bike computer that is

ANT+ compatible. The Scosche Rhythm + Armband uses PreformTek Precision

Biometrics technology to measure your heart rate by reading the blood volume

under the skin. Blood volume fluctuates with your heartbeat and this is how

Rhythm+ extrapolates your heart rate. The Rhythm+ has three LEDs and an

optical sensor on the back of it, the LEDs project light upon the skin and the

optical sensor interprets the reflected light and from that data the Rhythm+

can read your heart rate. ****Page Down****

The Rhythm+ is designed to work in conjunction with your Bluetooth 4.0 or ANT+

enabled smart device and your favourite fitness App, or your compatible

training watch or GPS. Having smartphone compatibility opens the Rhythm+ up to

the range of fitness Apps on the market. Note: the App you use must be

designed for use with Bluetooth 4.0 or ANT+.

CONSTRUCTION & DESIGN

Note - Unlike other optical heart rate sensors on the market the Rhythm+ has

three LED's - and you might have also noticed that two are green and one is

yellow-ish. This is different than most other products on the market that use

just a pair of green LED's. According to Scosche's engineers they added the

yellow LED because it tends to get better readings on those with darker skin.

By using all three LED's together they can increase accuracy across a broader

range of individuals.

- The unit will automatically shut-off if it doesn't detect a heart rate within

5-minutes.

- Transmits on both ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart concurrently

- USB Charging ****Page Down****
