Like a running pack, but for skimo racing. Lightweight materials and a vest style fit but with features specific to skimo like more durable materials and increased gear capacity. Designed so you don't have to take the pack off to stow or remove your ice axe, skis or crampons in addition to eating and drinking on the fly.

From the vendor: In Germany it’s called Schilaufen - ski running. It is a high-octane headrush of alpine ascent followed by a wild ride back to the bottom, followed by repeat... Ski Mountaineering, SkiMo, Randonee, whatever you call it, the bottom line is that it’s an incredible amount of fun. And, more and more, it’s what mountain runners do with their winter. For Fall 2016, built around the input of our Signature Series athletes, our UD Ambassadors, and a number of ski mountaineering greats, we are pleased to bring you the Signature Series Ski Vest range. These three vests can take you from an afternoon on your local nordic track, to the heights of Pierra Menta, across the Grand Traverse, and back for a quiet day of backcountry skiing.
