Ryder's use TR90 thermoplastic for their frames. TR90 is known for its extreme flexibility, durability and light weight making it the perfect material for performance eyewear frames.

Here is what Ryder says about their frames:

TR90 is ridiculously flexible. This is one of the reasons why our frames are so comfortable. Flexibility also contributes to durability and safety because a frame with high flexibility is more likely to absorb impacts and resist breaking. TR90's durability is a by-product of its flexibility. A highly flexible frame is less likely to break under stress or impact than a more rigid frame. TR90 is incredibly lightweight, which contributes to the comfort of our eyewear and the tendency to forget you're wearing it. All of our TR90 frames have hydrophilic [anti-slip] nose pads and many utilize this technology on the temple tips. This material is so effective that it actually grips better when it's wet exactly when it's needed.

Lenses:

Ryder uses polycarbonate for their lenses. Polycarbonate is the ideal material for performance eyewear because of its high impact resistance, inherent UV protection and light weight. Ryder's lenses all block 100% of UVA, UVB, and UVC rays, and harmful blue light to 400nm. Ryder uses an injection moulding process to make their lenses. All of Ryder's moulds have been engineered in a manner to specifically reduce distortion, this also reduces eye fatigue.
